I love Nandos and this week was no exception. Having tried all the local nandos I think these guys do especially well week in and week out. They can make small changes to your order without problem and the staff are always smiling and happy to help. I would recommend nandos in Gateshead to all of my friends so that they can experience Peri peri at its best.

...I'm posting this here due to a complete lack of any response to an earlier posting on the restaurants' Facebook page...

Wasn't particularly busy. Was shown to table by waiter who asked us if we'd been before and left. Went to order food from counter to be met with a fairly impatient person in a blue shirt who seemed to be in a bit of a hurry to get me out of the way. I ordered and went to get drinks and cutlery.

Walked in on a near full restaurant and was immediately greeted by a guy called Rob who made my us feel like we were the guest of honour even though there was a near enough a hundred guests. I ordered the new boneless platter which I was recommended to us. Food was piping hot and fresh. Every staff member chipped in and the manageress was making sure everyone was genuinely happy. Love this restaurant and will travel from Newcastle for our spicy fix. Well done to your team!

The guy who served us came and gave us table service and he could not have been more polite, we were so impressed with his amazing service. I think his name was Adam.

Firstly, before I start the review, I must point out, DO NOT RELY ON THE NANDO'S APP TO FIND THIS OUTLET! It takes you to a housing estate a good mile away from the actual store. Instead you need to head for Gateshead Interchange, and then look for Trinity Square, and you will see Nandos, underneath Vue cinema. If you use the app, like me, you will get lost!

We ate Lemon & Herb Chicken Burger/Medium wrap/Fries/large Rice/Soft drinks, delicious food as always. We have made Trinity Square Nando's our regular eating place for a few months now, mainly due to the fantastic service from a staff member by the name of Alan. Alan seems to be able to do everything and anything from serving to cooking, cleaning etc. Obviously a valued member of staff, he treats everyone in the same way, his customer service is exemplary, nice to see.

I visited the new Nando's with my daughter at Trinity Square in Gateshead, I was very inpressed, the service by Alan was fantastic, he delivered table service and was very attentitive, asking how are meal was and brining over refill drinks without me having to ask and leave my meal, very impressed by Alan a very friendly and nice guy, a credit to nando's, I will definetely go again, I never leave comments via on line but however felt I had to take time out this time as the my experience was

This store is part of the new town centre redevelopment which has an amazingly confusing one way system surrounding it which I tragically fell foul to searching for the entrance to the car park. Also be warned the Post code won't show up on a lot of satnavs (like mine) presumably due to how new it is. You get free parking in the car park below which is attached to the Tescos which seems to be the linchpin of the development.

Travelling back from an ultramarathon weekend in Kielder gave me the perfect chance to check out this new Nando's! It's located in the middle of Gateshead in the new Trinity Square complex. The time we were waiting for our food was PERFECT! It gave me and my sister five mins to catch up before staff brought us our food. Matty, was SO HELPFUL! Helped both me and my sister activate our nandos cards and explained in detail how they work. It was also his first time training on the grill and it was cooked to perfection. He also managed to fill a pita bread with everything my sister ordered, so credit to him because she couldn't even get her mouth around it!!

This was my first visit to the new Trinity Square branch and it was a fantastic experience. The food, the staff and manager Monz were great. Nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings including the toilets were fab!! With great public transport links as well as parking this will be my local from now on.
