There is NO train station in St Andrews! Leuchars train station is 5 miles away and you have to get a bus from there. As this Nando's is in the town centre, you are just a few minutes walk away from the Castle ruins, the Cathedral ruins and the University.
Parking: 
There are hundreds of street parking spaces all around the Central area (signposted as Central P) and they charge £1/1hr and £2/2hrs with a maximum stay of 2 hours, Mon-Sun 24/7. There is also parking (sign-posted as long stay parking) which will let you park for £2/4hr and over 4hr it's £3.60max a bit further out - but still less than a mile walk into the town centre. If you are lucky - then park at Murray Place car park, which IS in the town centre, but has only 55 spaces and is free for the whole day (post code KY16 9HU will take you here).

By far the best nandos for miles, if not the best nandos I’ve ever been too (and I’ve been to a few) staff are amazing, Especially David the manager. He goes over and above with every visit, he’s polite and always makes us very welcome, his customer service is second to none. We drive 20 odd mile to visit St Andrews Nando’s as no other competes The food is always 1st class and so is the service. It’s not true when they say they are all the same.

5 ⭐️ every time.

I have a few allergies which aren’t in the list of the 12 most common allergies which has caused issue in restaurants in the past, however, all of the staff were very willing to help and cater for my needs which made me feel very confident eating here. They staff were very friendly and professional and did not make me feel uncomfortable for having dietary requirements. The food was also extremely good and has left me wanting to return! A fantastic experience all round

We had chicken wings and a burger. Nando’s is our favourite place and the service is always outstanding! Thanks to Nathan on tills! He was so helpful and lovely! Will defiantly be coming back.

We have visited this Nandos several times and really enjoy the friendliness of most of the staff. We come from England and although our local Nandos have friendly staff the girl in charge at St Andrews yesterday was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble even though it was on a busy Friday evening. This was in contrast to our visit on the Tuesday when the girl who appeared to be in charge was grumpy and unhelpful with a snappy attitude.

Clean, glam décor we enjoyed

Always get a friendly welcome in St Andrews Nando's. It was starting to get busy and we were advised choice of food would take 10 minutes and asked if this was alright. Didn't think that was long to wait but very happy to be told. Asked for small glass of wine and advised this would be 125mls. Good to see a restaurant that serves small glasses, ideal for those who do not want a large glass with their meal. Food was tasty and hot.

This store is in the quaint cathedral (ruined by reformation mob) town of St Andrews with its posh old worldy feel it's the Winchester of Scotland. The store Nestles in between a Sainsburys and a pub on the wide cobbled road with a subway nearby on the lower area of Market road. Parking seemed ample and is charged 9am to 5pm at 50p for first half hour and up in increments which seemed reasonable.

I feel I am a loyal customer to the St Andrews Nandos as I am there on a weekly basis. I have noticed the staff are constantly changing and the service is decreases as the weeks go on. On Saturday night around 9:00 a couple friends and I ordered our usual meal platters. We were told we would be 20 minutes wait which was no issue for us. After 55 minutes of waiting we were finally served our food which wasn't to a great standard.

Staff were very busy but kept smiling. Great atmosphere as the restaurant was almost full and there were a lot of students who had just graduated. This was my second visit and I'll be back.

While up this way, it would have been silly not to venture to the glorious town of St Andrews seeing as I have never been - and also visit the newest Nando's in the UK, which officially opened this week!

I did fancy a nice coastal train journey from Edinburgh to St Andrews, but found out that there is NO train station in St Andrews!! So I had to drive in the end. Leuchars train station is 5 miles away and you have to get a bus from there, so I sacked that off.

Phoned ahead to book takeaway used number on the web page that was listed 01223327908 .was a bit unsure of the number as it wasn't a standrews area code but phoned it none the less as lots of places use central call centres now .placed my order was told food would be 15/20 mins turned up nandos to,have no record of my order .waitress was very helpful and tryed to hunt my order down but had no luck she then asked me again what I had ordered and was then told it would be another 30 minutes for

Waitress explained everything to us, she was very friendly and welcoming. New restaurant so everything was gleaming. Staff cleaned the tables immediately after customers left, no dirty plates or untidy floor areas around the tables. Everyone seemed to be working hard to give the customers a good experience.
