Ashford - Elliott Review
Entered the outlet and was greeted almost immediately by an incredibly friendly Nandoca, who asked where we wanted to sit, as we near enough had free-reign of the entire outlet. Seat picked right in the middle of the outlet, I went up to the till to order. The Nandoca on the till was great fun, laughing and joking with the group I was in, and really did make me smile whilst my order was being taken. Excitement over, I returned to my table via the cutlery and sauce area.
I hadn't even been sat down a few moments, and my meal arrived! Wonderful! Churrasco Thigh Burger Mango and Lime with Peri-chips and spicy rice. The burger was filled to the top, with the fino-slaw, cheese, and churrasco sauce oozing out of the bun. The electric mix of flavours really made for an enjoyable meal. The burger was gobbled up fairly quickly, as it was just so tasty. The chicken was piping hot, and very tender, with the Portuguese roll nice and soft. Simply wonderful. I had a very good helping of chips, with lashings of peri-salt all over them, which again were very tasty and red hot. The spicy rice was piled high, and the whole meal left me feeling rather stuffed!
Once the group had all finished eating, a Nandoca came over and cleared the plates, offering any desserts or drinks. We were all simply stuffed, so decided to opt for a refill of our drinks rather than anything else food-wise!
The outlet is quite large, and very open. It wasn't incredibly busy during this visit, which is different to the previous one where it was rather full. Customer care and Nando's spirit was really in full flow here, you simply could not fault any of the staff who were on duty during the visit. The outlet is very clean, was well stocked with sauces, and has some interesting items of decoration around, along with some lovely light fittings.
A very enjoyable visit to what is now my local Nando's!
