Parking: 
Parking is available in Eastgate Centre but has early closing times (car parks 1-4). Your best bet is to get 2 hours free in Asda (car park 5) - and then 90p/hr after that. Just a few minutes walk from this car park.

We went to the Eastgate Branch on Saturday Night (just before wasting our time watching the new Gladiator Film at the Cinema next door)..we explained to the Lady (her name was Summer and she deserves a special mention) we were in a hurry to watch the film and she was amazing in getting us sat down and served promptly.The food was good .I had the Butterfly Chicken and it was a little dry but we would definitely eat there again.

Parking great
Very expensive
Chicken skewers RAw
Chicken fino burger disgusting nothing complemented anything a ghastly white sauce ,I’ve did it in the onions , haloumi didn’t add anything to it
Sharing chips smothered in sauce not nice
Chicken thighs were ok but had better
Mash potatoes look warm
Haloumi starter was nice but Luke warm

On entry the young staff appears helpful, I stated allergy for raw onions, they did check the dish for this which was thorough but time consuming for a simple single produce. How ever my friends dinner came up long before mine then I notice mine among others under the lamps but all staff standing with their backs to the food counter chatting, I eventually got up and went over and asked why my dinner was under tge lamps while staff stood around chatting..

This Nando's has opened in in place of the one in Eastgate shopping centre. The development in East Square is still very empty. Seems as though there were plans for 10 restaurants or so to go into the complex next to the cinema but only a couple of units have been taken up so far given the Empire cinema never opened. Maybe this will change if Vue does open up.
