Boldon - Pompey Ranger Review
This store in the colliery town of Boldon is definitely the best thing in town, in a new shopping development on the outskirts of the town centre and on the main roads close to the Tyne tunnel. The Asda store close by was very busy and the car park in that area was crazy fortunately the car parking around the Nandos and cinema next door was calmer and provides a large number of free spaces and you can keep an eye on your car through the window or even sit in the outside area next to the store which looked very inviting other than the cold of the North east and the torrential rain.
The store was bright breezey and clean with a geometric wood ceiling and what i'm certain was cobb walls along the servery, reminiscent of the mud huts of the Serengeti or the cobb cottages of Devon. It was welcoming as were the staff who were attentive and freindly and even topped up my beverage for me. The only blot on this otherwise spot on store was the male toilets needed a cleaning.
Food was quite quick and came out with good size portions and very well cooked.
A delightful store to visit
