It was time for a pre-match Nando's as 7 gooners made their way into Mermaid Quay fully kitted out in Arsenal gear ahead of the 3pm kick-off at Cardiff City stadium. This Nando's is also offers great views of Cardiff bay and is a lovely area to walk around.

Parking was £2.50 for 2 hours in the nearby pay and display car park and we were delighted to be seated straight out at 12.30 on a Saturday afternoon at a booth on the left as you walk in.

The high tables down the middle of this restaurant are lined with stools and the funky, moving Nando's sauce selections which is always convenient.

Everyone's food arrived within 10 minutes and all 7 orders were perfect although there was confusion over whether mayonnaise was available or not. After being told there wasn't any, the manager then came over and told me there was some which was great news.

The food was brilliant and my chicken was actually dripping in sauce unlike at Old Brewey Quarter Nando's. The halloumi was great and everyone seemed to be very happy with their orders.

Given Arsenal won 3-0 and moved 7 points clear, this brilliant Nando's helped make a brilliant day. Fully recommended.
