Cardiff - Mermaid Quay

Food brought out incorrect however staff sorted this quickly without fuss and were very polite about this. However during meal a group of Nando’s worked 4-5 were sat at a table in the main restaurant chatting about their weekend, found this very unprofessional and distracting.

I want to register a complaint about my treatment on Friday 1st April at your Nando’s Cardiff Bay branch. I have a medical condition which requires me to use the disabled toilet. On seeing the toilet roll dispenser to be empty I politely asked a member of staff to refill it before I could use the toilet. She looked me up and down and asked why I needed the disabled toilet as I didn’t look disabled. My disability is not visible and it was rude and insensitive to ask.

Not enough choice, overpriced and the scrawniest chickens I have ever seen.
Chips were soft and tasteless.
Syrup in Coke machine was weak, came out as light brown fizzy water.

This is my first time in nandos and the food was just absolutely delicious and the place looks clean and tidy

We are never disappointed when we go out as a family here, on this particular visit we had visitors over to stay from Michigan USA, and Nando's was on their list to try and they loved it. Really fast service and members of staff working that evening went out of their way for us.

The chicken we had was scrumptious, like a firework exploding flavour into your mouth, the aroma floating from the kitchen was divine, instantly starting the anticipation of what feasts be brought upon us. The whole family sharing a moment of magic as we dive head first into the heavenly sent cooked chickens that would be better placed in a fairy tale feast.

I am 100% certain this branch would be in the top ten UK Nando's if more reviewers went there. This branch was by far the best Welsh Nando's over the weekend and one of the best experiences I've ever had.

I enjoyed my visit to Nando's restaurant at Cardiff Bay area. It was a lovely and new restaurant I Cardiff with the lovely view of the bay. We choose to sit outside as it was nice sunny day. The smell of the food and the warm sea air make us very hungry. We order a chicken platter with drink. The service was quick and efficient. The whole restaurant was well decorated with the rustic look. We enjoyed the chicken which is cooked to perfection and very tender.

It was time for a pre-match Nando's as 7 gooners made their way into Mermaid Quay fully kitted out in Arsenal gear ahead of the 3pm kick-off at Cardiff City stadium. This Nando's is also offers great views of Cardiff bay and is a lovely area to walk around.

Parking was £2.50 for 2 hours in the nearby pay and display car park and we were delighted to be seated straight out at 12.30 on a Saturday afternoon at a booth on the left as you walk in.

My girlfriend and I were down at Cardiff Bay to go to the Doctor Who Experience and fancied a spot of lunch. There was a good mix of restaurants but Nando's was represented even down on the bay. There's a good amount of entertainment around including said experience and the Millenium Center about a few minutes walk away.
