For those that know Cardiff, then they know how nice the Mermaid Quay complex is. During the day being able to sit outside a pub watching boats float by in the sun, is great - so being to get a take out Nando's is even better!

There's also only a short walk to get from the Mermaid Quay car park (which has plenty of spaces and is very reasonably priced) to any restaurant in the complex.

My most recent visit to this branch was late on a Sunday night though - so no chance of any sun! Myself and a colleague arrived at about 8pm and it was very busy - but luckily we were seated straight away and were next to the window. It's a very narrow Nando's so from what I remember there was only room for one table by the window - so a great seat :-)

Otherwise the whole restaurant has two tables with a small gap between them all the way down. There are a couple of tables in large booth style sections which have some nice artwork in them, but otherwise there's not really the space to go overboard on the decoration.

As with being seated the food service was quick too - just over 5 minutes and no loss of quality. The extra marinade was noticeable.
