This small store down at Mermaid quay is in a open air leisure complex close to the Roald Dahl Plas on the floor of a former dry dock, the Doctor Who experience, Wales millennium centre. The nearest parking is on Stuart road but you will need to fix your mortgage to pay before parking up. It’s surrounded by other restaurants like Pizza Express, Subway and Cafe Rouge.
There is a small outside seating area which is overshadowed by the crowds ambling past, to try and encourage us to sit there the member of staff told us there was a 25 minute wait which we agreed to wait to get inside but then only had to wait about 7 minutes.
The ceiling is wavy wooden with booths down both sides and a high long table down the middle.
The serving was down the end and the toilets were behind it and consisted of a few individual cubicles and a long queue to get into a badly designed cramped toilet were you need to climb into the bowl to dry your hands which I hope explained the very wet floor around the toilet.
Food was good and there were a lot of well cooked chips when it did eventually come out.
