This Nando's is on the Colonnades retail park which offers 4 hours free parking. Waddon and South Croydon train stations are nearest both about 1 mile walk away.
Inside it seems like maybe this Nando's was kitted out quickly as nothing really caught my eye - not like the other new Croydon branch with brighter colours. There's a large wooden sculpture in the style of a big animal skeleton going across the ceiling with the lights dangling off this but probably not what it's meant to represent. There are some larger booths towards the back wall but the two/four seater tables by the entrance and in the front are all a bit tightly packed together. Toilets at the back in a beige/grey.
This Nando's was heaving when I arrived mid-afternoon and there was about a 10 minute wait for a table, with the food coming in just under 15 minutes. I had another sunset burger and chips - with the fillets on the burger being a tad on the small side again (or normal size now), but cooked well and the chips portion was an average size and were cooked fine.
Staff were pleasant and doing as expected.
