Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

This stand alone store on the edge of a retail park with massive amounts of free parking is quite impressive with a tile mosiac on the outside of 2 hands making a heart. The inside is wooden, bright and airey. We had a bit of a discussion to get a table we wanted, when I say discussion, we turned down a table that wasn't suitable for my disabled brother and when we were told to stay with that table we went and chose an other empty table and stuck at it.

Took a bit of discussion and telling the till operator how to use their till to get served as they seemed to not have been fully trained, our food then took 32 minutes to come out and then only after we had asked for it to be tracked down. Disappointed as it came out burnt, but after 32 minutes wait we just wanted to eat it. The chips were plentiful and with plenty of peri peri sprinkle even if the chicken had been in a nasty fire.

The fanta had run out and i had to ask someone to change the syrup, they didn't rush at it and after going up a few times they said they would bring a glass over when they had changed the syrup. They didn't and after a while i noticed other people returning with orange drink so went back up. Would rather staff didn't offer to do things they have no intention of doing.

We didn't get the check back or some one come to offer dessert but as my brother was insistent he wanted dessert i queued up order a chocolot cake with scoop of gelato and a frozen yoghurt. 17 minutes we waited for the cake, i then found the patreo and asked after it and it came out, with admittedly an extra scoop of gelato to make up for the long wait. Though we did still have our finished and dirty main meal plates all over our table at this point though I'd stacked them so if someone had wanted to take them away it would have been easy. I also asked for teaspoons and was first told that the store only had one teaspoon, another member of staff then found a whole pile out back when I persevered.

I'm hoping that all these failings and massive delays are just teething problems as no one has that amount of time to wait around.
Left feeling very let down and disappointed after how nice the store looked from outside. Fortunate the store isn't local to me so i don't ever have to return.
