Although my sat nav was unhappy with the postcode of the retail park, I put in the postcode of Baird Road (EN1 1SJ) which leads down to the newest Nando's within the M25!
The staff were all very enthusiastic and evidently raring to go ahead of the official opening on Wednesday 21 January, 2015. After waiting for just under 10 minutes, we were seated in the furthest section of the restaurant from the entrance. Our wait for a table was dominated by admiration for the colourful hanging structures that greet you on entry.
There was a short queue at the tills before an enthusiastic Nandoca took my order. The food arrived around 10 minutes later and I was instantly excited about the amount of sauce on my half chicken. Everything was great, but the chicken wasn't quite spicy enough for me.
There's a Cineworld nearby as well as other restaurants and Pets At Home just in case Nando's gives you the urge to buy a pet.
All in all this was a great visit and it was excellent to check out another new Nando's. I'm up to 164 now I believe!
