Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Hit this branch with Patrick and Steven on Saturday evening as we met up with a guy I've not seen since finishing school (too many years ago now!) Chose this branch over the one in the town centre thanks to the swathes of free parking... but it seems a common trick as the queue for a table was probably the longest I've come across! Told 15-20mins, it was considerably longer until we got a table (some people were told 45+mins).

It's an extremely clumsily laid out branch - especially where we were sitting, towards the glass-windowed side of the restaurant. A mish-mash of chairs only add to the tohu-bohu feel of the branch. It feels as if they could easily rearrange the chairs to make it a) easier to navigate around the place and b) accommodate more people). Went straight up to order when we were given our table and, despite some comedian trying to jump in front of me before the till, it all went smoothly. I'd actually earned an orange reward the night before at the Lime Street branch (a visit that's somewhat blurry for typical Friday post-work reasons), but decided to save it for a free weekday lunch (which I've just had from Baker Street today).

Halloumi was a bit on the small side but the butterfly burger was alright; Patrick had to wait an absolute age for his food though. Given it's in a retail park, this branch feel as if it should be a lot bigger - and I can imagine people defecting to Subway/McDonalds/Krispy Kreme when it gets mega busy. Of note, there's a giant Cineworld across the road but it's a branch generally best reached by car as it's on an awkward dual carriageway - best stick to the one in town otherwise.

Despite the crowds, staff were good - especially the Nandoca at the entrance who dealt with all the waiting people as efficiently as she could.
