What better place to spend Friday lunchtime than Goodge Street Nando's especially after teaching English all morning on the UCL campus? This visit was remarkable on various levels and has firmly cemented Goodge Street as my favourite branch.
Our party of 17 was seated instantly at 12.15 towards the back of the restaurant (memories of the first RYN contributor dinner come flooding back to me as I type this) having been warmly welcomed by manager Minty and co. As this event was a first ex-peri-peri-ence for all my students, I took over the Nandocas role by running through the menu with them.
Some adventurous individuals went straight for hot, some suffered more than others! More importantly, the food arrived quickly, there were no problems with the orders and everyone was satisfied and many were left in awe by what they had just experienced. We made our way out just as the branch was filling up and no doubt some new Nando's fans have been born!
