Stopped in on this new Nando's on the way back south! It's located on the A61 ring-road around Harrogate town centre, so is easily found. There are hundreds of street bays on many of the roads inside the A61 ring-road, priced at 70p/30mins up to a max 3 hour stay, Mon-Sat 8am-6pm. For longer stays, there is a multi-storey (West Park) priced about the same but has opening hour restrictions. Harrogate Railway Station is less than half a mile walk away too. An Odeon cinema is also near the train station.

As you enter this Nando's, there is a spiral staircase infront of you, which has a very brightly coloured lampshade hanging over it, in a sort of melted effect. This leads you downstairs to the toilets, which were very clean and has a large rectangular sink with three round mirrors above it.

Back upstairs and there are three distinct seating sections. At the front in the windows there are four circular two-seater tables, all patterned in a blue-grey, along with some bench style seating and a few square booths in the corner/against the wall. There's a separating wall from these front seats with lots of hanging plants from it - and is also home to the sauces/drinks machine. From here towards the back there's more colour on the ceiling by way of of a dozen or so multi-coloured wicker lampshades, which are above a single crescent shaped 14-16 seater table - and then towards the back, more blue-grey circular tables and bench style seating - with the benches here being patterned in red/brown in different styles... and above them the ceiling also consists red and yellow fabric mesh set into wood-panelling. There are also a few large canvas paintings dotted about making this a very colourful and fresh Nando's indeed.

Arrived here at about 3pm and it was only a third-full, so no wait to order and the food came in 9 minutes. The food was nice but a standard Nando's. The half chicken was an average size - not much meat on the leg but then a little more on the breast piece. The leg was quite greasy and rather pink, but then the breast was very white, but also a little dry. The chips portion size was average and was a mix of some hot/crispy and others a little cold/soggy - and the rice was an average size, but hot and moist. A 3 overall.

Staff were pleasant enough, but did everything as expected.
