I was a very big fan of Nandos until recently when I noticed how they cheekily began to think of ways to take more money out of the customers. First step- All the plates and bowls were replaced with smaller sizes so as to lessen the portions of food. Secondly they increased the prices significantly of nearly all the items on their menu . When I asked the cashier about this, she ignorantly replied 'Oh these prices are inclusive of the VAT" when the VAT was clearly not added in them! Nandos should realise with the recession and the VAT increase, now is the worse time to carry out tactics like these. They will eventually lose loyal customers like myself. And if they think no one notices, wrong again! I do!
