Ilford - Marc Joss Review
Parking £1.20 for 2 hours in the nearby car park which seems reasonable.
As for the restaurant itself, we were lucky enough to be given a table by the entrance which meant we were continually subjected to cold air as people came in and out.
The sauces and cutlery are located at the opposite end of the restaurant which leads me to think that the layout could be improved. There were no forks but after asking if someone could bring them to our table when they were ready, the waitress (if you can call her that) started moaning about how hard she had to work and reiterated the 'self-service' nature of Nando's. She then proceeded to repeat to me that she was not my slave. Slightly excessive one could say as I had already been waiting by the cutlery section for almost 5 minutes!
On another note, the interior is impressive with lots of provocative paintings and impressive lighting.
Not the best Nando's and it was packed out on a Tuesday evening. Had there been more of us, we would have had to wait for much longer for a table but luckily there were only two of us.
