Kilburn - jackie molyneux Review
This branch is well served by both Tube and Overground trains. I understand they’ve recently had a re-fit, but as this was my very first visit, I have nothing to compare it with.
It’s a shame that the cashier staff all seem to be still in training. The cashier who took my order had to check how to swipe my gift card with the Manager, who was sorting out something out in the grill area. Maybe it was her first day? But it must’ve been frustrating for the 27 people queueing behind me?
My food arrived fairly quickly, and it was fine. All my selections were cooked nicely. It was just a huge shame that one of my fellow diners had to wait over 45 minutes for his dinner. Poor Elliott. And then it only arrived after being chased up with a passing staff member. So, obviously, no-one had been over to check if ‘everything was alright’???
Girlies may need to wear sunglasses in the ladies loo, they have painted them in a very scary zig zag multi-coloured design. And why the weird surgical glove stuck over the smoke alarm????
It WAS a very clean branch, before a glass got smashed on the floor. Unfortunately there was a delay in clearing away the broken bits.
They have a nice original-looking painting of a small boy in the main eating area, & the lights look hand painted & some are permanently tilted to give more light to the diners. Plus they have a platform raised at the rear of this branch that would make a good area for family gathering/party. Sadly our group was just too large to be accommodated comfortably.
So my visit was not a complete disappointment but there is a definite need for some improvement. Sorry Kilburn……………………………………….
