This Nando's was amazing! My first time visiting Leeds and it was a great first Nando's to start off what may be seven or eight this weekend.
Inside the Trinity Centre which has only apparently been around for half a year, they've kept it tidy and clean with great artwork. On the 2nd floor just next to Primark and alongside othEr restaurants like TGI Fridays it is like a shining beacon. Got there just before six pm, greeted by friendly staff and were given a seat in the second half of the branch with a view of people walking underneath and just going about their business. Its size is due to taking over two shop spaces and the view we had of the street below was really fascinating.
Claimed my red reward for a free half chicken mango and lime, peri chips and garlic bread, it arrived in about 12 minutes piping hot everything. Only the leg quarter was slightly black but large portion of chips and garlic bread and we had one of those tables with the sauce rack on so no need to get the sauces. The chicken was not smothered in sauce but it was a large breast, had to leave some behind.
The lady at the til was really nice and the lady who showed us the table but they get a four because the manager tried to seat a group of eight next to us. They when they moved to another table, for the next five minutes he constantly came over to the table making loads of noise as he moved things around. Very annoying.
Ended up going into the disabled toilet because there was a queue in the ladies, surprising seeing as there are three toilets but otherwise this branch is definitely a top ten. Also definitely one to recommend for a Nando's on Tour! Nando's 118 went well, so here's to reaching 150 this year
