Leeds - Trinity - Elliott Review
A trip to Leeds, and the first Nando's had to be this one. A new one for Gerre, and a re-visit for me.
Entered the outlet and was immediately shown to a table by the Nandoca. We were given the choice of where to sit, so I requested at the rear of the outlet as I had sat in the front half last time I visited.
I was seated right next to a large window which looks out over Leeds, providing wonderful views of the city below. A great place to sit, Table 31 if you get the chance! The outlet is in two sections, and the 'rear' half is the best in my opinion. There are quite high ceilings and some very nice decor. Lots of lovely South African art work around the place too.
After admiring the view, I went to place my order. The Nandoca was helpful and efficient with the ordering process, and before long I was back at the table.
The meal arrived after 12 minutes, and was piping hot. I ordered 1/4 chicken mango and lime with chips and salad. The chicken was red hot, and incredibly tender. There was lashings of Peri-Peri on it, with the skin lightly crispy which is just how I like it. The salad was good, crisp and cool. The chips were a little dry which brings it down, but otherwise an excellent meal.
Overall a good visit! The outlet is well worth a visit, and in my opinion the best of the three Nando's in the city centre.
