Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Came to this Nando's for Sunday lunch and it was very nice indeed.

It's located on the Freeman's Lesire Park which has an Odeon on it too - and certainly on this Sunday, the parking was free and had hundreds of spaces right outside. Just FYI, although all websites say Freemans - all the signposts say Freemens.

Arriving this early it was pretty quiet, only a couple tables in use, so very quick service (only 8 minutes wait for the food) and very friendly staff (good banter and chat).

There's plenty of tables both inside and outside (maybe 50+) and a good mixture of booth seating and tables/chairs dotted around the place. Very spacious between tables too.

Very good lighting (stage lighting) and plenty of bright artwork on the walls together with dozens of pots/plants. Toilets were immaculately clean too!

Was a bit greedy and had half a chicken and chips and rice for lunch - and am pleased I did! The chicken was gorgeous: piping hot, drenched in marinade and very moist. The chips were crisps and hot and a very good portion size too! Really very, very nice.

The decorations and lighting have been changed since your visit. We liked it before and we like it now. Your comment about the staff being friendly is so accurate, they are interested in the customers. Being next door but one to the Leicester Tigers Rugby ground, it does get busy on match days - but at teatime on weekdays, you do get players coming for a meal. The parking is always free and there are usually plenty of spaces.
