Second Nando's of the day was Leicester Highcross and, as with Leicester Freemans, this was also very good indeed!

Locals may know the parking a little better, but I parked in the cultural quarter car park and it was pretty expensive. £8.30 for anything between 2 and 3 hours! It was only a short walk from the car park (maybe 5 minutes) and there was a Asian Food Festival on in the city centre too, so great to saunter through! There were a small number of on road parking spaces which were free/cheap, but no empty ones anywhere!

The Highcross shopping centre is a nice little centre with plenty on offer. The Nando's is actually underneath the Showcase cinema, so I imagine can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights. I arrived at around 4pm and it was about half full. A very friendly welcome too!

Very good layout of the branch: lots of large round booths and tables and chairs curving right round from the main entrance to the toilets.

The branch was nice and bright too. Full length windows all the way around the front of the branch. The large refreshment area (with the sauces etc) had an interesting wall with plenty of holes inset into it holding some interesting vases!

With it being only half full, there was no time at all to queue and the food came in under 5 minutes. This time I had the chicken breast burger and chips. The chips were fantastic - hot and crisp, and the burger was even better. The bun was just right - not soggy at all and the chicken breast was hot and very saucy!

As with the first Leicester one, the toilets here were also immaculate!
