Liverpool - Speke - Ryan Review
New Mersey retail park has lots of large retail brands such as B&Q, M&S etc and other eateries. A Cineworld will also open very soon on the retail park. There is four hours free parking to be had across the retail park. Liverpool South Parkway is the nearest train station at about 1 mile walk away.
Arived here around 4:45pm... so just enough time to scoff some scran and get back for the England game... Only a handful of tables in use, so chose to sit outside.
There's no discernible shop frontage as it shares the front with other outlets - but the front doors were completely open on this hot sunny day, which made the restaurant feel massove and on its own. There are four very large multi-coloured spirals hangning down at the front for the lighting. There's a very good mix of seating, including a dozen or so tables out the front. Green leather runs throughout and the largest booths are at the very back by the toilets entrance. All very bright and clean throughout.
I went for a half chicken with chips and rice. The food came in only three minutes and it felt like it had all already been plated up for a while. The chips had gone somewhat cold, the rice was also a little cold - and sadly the chicken wasn't hot or juicy, but rather very dry, very chewy and quite a small sized portion.
Staff were very chatty as you'd expect from anywhere near Liverpool and giving good service to everybody.
