Stopped into this new Nando's on an early Friday evening. It's in the redeveloped Baxter Gate complex which is also home to a Cineworld and is half a mile walk from Loughborough train station. There are plenty of car parks around Loughborough all with different opening times and charged at different prices. Carillon Court is the nearest and is priced at £0.50/1hr, £1.50/2hrs, £2.50/3hrs, £3/4hrs and £5/day but is only open 7am-7pm. Sital House is the next nearest and is 24 hours priced at £0.60/1hr, £1.60/2hrs, £2.20/3hrs and upwards from there.

Arrived here around 5pm and it was almost full. I was seated in one of the two seater booths slap bang in the middle of the restaurant, which is in a square of nine two-seater booths. To the right of this section over by the windows is the bulk of the seating with banquette and plenty of table/chair sets. There are some cream cones and brown lattices for the light shades. There are a few tables scattered outside too with green and orange metal chairs. There's also a big heart in one of the windows. Toilets are at the back of the restaurant, with some large collage pieces on the walls here and bright doors to the toilets. The toilets were clean and in a green theme, which matched the colour of the door (so not sure if the ladies would be orange!).

Food came in just under 15 minutes. I went for the thigh burger and chips. I had a huge portion of chips and they hot and crispy enough (a fair few were soggy). The burger was hot and saucy and the thigh fillet was thick and juicy.

Staff were friendly enough but doing as expected. Overall a nice meal in a nice new modern Nando's.
