This store is located in the Gate entertainment area of Newcastle and is full of drunken revellers heading to one of the pub/clubs or coming out of the cinema. It is just round the corner from Newcastle's china town and from Eldon square shopping centre and a short walk to st James football ground.

Upon arriving the store was almost empty yet I still had to wait for someone to come and seat me and inadvertently pushed in front of another couple who had been waiting to be seated but I assumed were waiting on takeaway as they had sat down on the chairs by the door.

Upon seating I was disappointed by the décor and the cleanliness of the place. It resembled a Mexican cantina just a very run down one. The beverage station had all manner of items spilt across it and was filthy, the cokes were also out of order. The windows were dirty, the toilets were also not very clean. More perplexing was despite the store almost being empty it was very hard to get the sauces I wanted and had hardly any sauce bottles available. Also there was no salt sellers in view so I tracked down a member of staff and asked for one, I was told there were no salt pots but he did go and get me a pile of salt in a ice cream cardboard tub.

The chicken was a bit dried out and not that enjoyable. The chips were also darker coloured, more crispy and a lot more greasy than they should have been making me think they had been twice dipped. The salad was the only enjoyable part of the meal.

After dinner no one came to check if I wanted a dessert or an ice cream so after a while I left.

This store is in much need of a good clean, a lick of paint and possibly a refurbishment. Especially the window looking down from the toilet corridor which was so messed up it was quite off putting.
