Reading - Oracle Centre

9:30. Ordered a burger and butterfly with chips. We were quite quickly presented with the saddest sight. The chicken was so dry, it absorbed any bodily fluid present so we refrained. May I suggest you market it to NASA (is that what the flag’s for? I personally stuck it in my chicken as a sign of surrender) and the NHS to minimise the use of urinary catheters? Late I know but no excuse for £30 of inedible food.

Turned up looking for a table for 8 at 6pm and they managed to seat us straight away. Easy parking in the Riverside Car Park with the Nando's 30 seconds walk from the staircase exit. That's if you can navigate the horrible roads around Reading to get there!

Overall a really good Nando's experience. The food came quickly, was piping hot, the chips were covered in probably the most peri-spice I've ever seen, and I tried thighs for the first time and they were delicious!

Amazing service with such friendly staff in particular Edward. He was so helpful and went above and beyond to get us more drinks and bring our food out super quick. Served us with a smile and jolly vibes. He couldn’t of done any more. Food tasted so good I will definitely be coming back to this Nando’s the next time I’m in Reading.

Servers couldn’t be arsed, food arrived wrong (plates mixed up, sides on wrong plates) food was cold. No ketchup and no alternative, paid for a refill drink but not once asked if I wanted another for the whole of my visit. (mind it was the hottest day of the year) we were asked once if everything was ok but guy didn’t seem to care and that was the last we saw of the server.

This is the worst experience in Nando’s I have had, we ordered with our group of friends and they were waiting over 20 minutes after we received our food. Our friends had to go to the counter and collect there own food as the staff did not deliver their food to our table. We waited over 50 minutes in total to receive all the food to the table which I find disgraceful. We spoke to members of the staff which was unhelpful and the manager Helder was not understanding in the circumstances.

This was a great Nando's which is part of a fantastic shopping centre on the river with great outdoor space showing Wimbledon as well! I was mostly asleep, but Mummy and Daddy said the food was delicious!

We visited this Nando's for a birthday party and even though the manager couldn't make an official advanced booking, she ensured the staff would be aware and ready and do everything possible to seat us in a timely manner.

We were a large group (approx 16 people) with mostly 7-10 year old kids and they managed to seat and serve us really quickly despite how busy they were.

Arrived in my lunch hour to be seated straight away which is always a bonus. Queue for food wasn't too long, I got served by a lovely man who made me laugh the whole time. Service from the staff was very good as there weren't many workers around. When I asked for extra sauce one staff member had forgotten but when I asked another member they very quickly got for me. I was very impressed, this is my favourite Nandos as the music is always playing and the staff always look so happy.

I had half chicken, peri chips, coleslaw and a bottomless drink. The chicken was cold and seemed as though it was sitting out for quite sometime. I asked the staff to reheat but still not hot.staff seemed to be just working on one side. service was soo bad had to walk to the tills to ask for assistance which is quite odd as usually the service is very good.

I had the double wrap and it was exceptional as always. The Staff were friendly as ever and these 2 reasons are why i keep going back. Parking Is above nandos in the oracle reading

Second Nando's of the day in Reading and it seems at any time these branches are always busy. About 15 -20 minute wait for a table, and when I got it, it was right at the back behind a column that you wouldn't know a table was there. Again there was a long queue to order food even with four tills open. Bearing in mind I had a meal only 3 hours before hand it decided to order a chicken wrap with a slice of halloumi and pineapple for the second time and peri chips which I don't ever have.

Student discount would be good. Not enough Nandos special mayo and more sauce would be better.
