Richmond - jethazm Review

I can safely say that this is one of the better Nando's out there. Despite the restaurant being at almost full capacity, I was quickly shown to a table and my order was taken quickly. The service was exceptionally fast especially when you take into account how packed it was. It is also noteworthy that the tills were well-manned despite the fact the restaurant was busy, meaning queues for ordering were dealt with quickly.

To eat, I had a Prego Steak Roll with 5 Wings and large Peri fries. As more experienced Nando's fans will understand, the Prego Steak Roll can be quite a hit and miss dish. It can range from being excellent to chewy meaning it is difficult to tear the meat with your mouth and end up with too large a mouthful. My Extra-hot Prego roll was the best I have ever dated amongst all (88 so far Nando's that I have visited). The meat was tender and easy to chew. The Extra hot wings were as always excellent and the Peri-Fries lived up to their usual standard.

It is noteworthy that the Nandoca were willing to go the extra mile here and noticed I had forgotten to get cutlery before my meal and were quick to run and get some for me as well as provide me with some serviettes. Also, the Host kept an eye on my drink level and the minute he saw I had an empty glass he was quick to run to the machine and refill it.

This restaurant is also one of the few where you can eat outside on a balcony over the street - this is certainly unique.

I would certainly recommend this Nando's to anyone, this is one of the few Nando's where it doesn't get slower when it gets busier.
