This Nando's is in the heart of Richmond, just up from Richmond bridge (so you can enjoy a walk or waddle after finishing your meal) and next to Richmond Odean cinema. The building itself is a small historic 2 storey modest wooden affair greatly enlarged with conservatory style extensions on the ground floor leaving the upper floor for toilets and office space. Depending where you are it can either be a bit dark in the centre of the store but with the walming glow from the brick serving area and its hotlights or bright and breezey around the edge with its large french doors all around which open up onto the patio area for summer use giving a garden feel to the store.

Despite the restaurant being almost empty the waiter decided to cram all the customers (inc those that came in after) into a very small portion of the store. It was good as I had a window table looking out towards the centre of Richmond, bad in that we were crammed when the rest of the place was empty and I had a tight fit between to other dinners who were disturbed each time I went for beverage.

Food took a while to arrive but the sides were standard and the chicken was overcooked from what my liking would be and burnt on the wing. The staff were irritating with their secondary selling, even if you come back every 2 minutes asking again do I want more sides I'm not going to buy them!!! And it made me decide I would not be buying a dessert long before they came and tried to sell me one 4 times.

The toilets were clean and on the upper floor in a bright room.

This store is very in fitting with Ricmond, but if the staff could ease up on the force selling and let customers spread around an empty restaurant it would be improved.
