Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
OK - South Harrow is my local Nandos (gutted that it's 5 miles away - bring one in Northwood, Pinner or Ruislip please!!!!) so this is the standard Nandos crave I have at least 2-3 evenings a week. Relative to the several hundred visits of Nandos that I have had it fits in above average. I am not commenting on the table wait, service or the decor because its as I expect. I normally get Hot half chicken and peri chips and vary from mash, corn or garlic bread on the second side. So I got the half chicken peri chips and corn (hot also). So on an individual item basis, using the rating system in the review process, these are the individual marks, which gave the final overall score of 4 - above average:
Half chicken 4.5 - very happy because usually the half chicken breast is dry and the leg is what I look forward to due to its beautifully tender taste. Breast was surprisingly tender also. Happy also because the size of this half chicken was more than expected
Peri Chips 4 - Peri salt well distributed. Most chips of the right texture - hot and slightly crunchy with a few being soggy and few being hard and stale. I rate that higher that what I expect on average
Corn 2.5 - I ask for my corn to be hot and I received a plain corn with little dabs of spice on it. Didn't bother complaining. Size also was small.
As corn is a smaller constituent of the meal, the overall score was a 4.
Well there's my first review of many. Noticed the variety of favourite meals on this site. I pretty much like everything on the menu but regularly play safe. Time to experiment...
