South Harrow - Gerry Louis Review
The last time i came to this nando's they sent us away for fear it would be attacked during the london riots. Had to settle for pizza that night but better less said about that. Got there after half five after a horrible day of waiting around and had to wait ten mins for a table. Bearing in mind they seem ve have about 30 tables in there, its not very big.
I'm feeling so full writing this review it's hard to concentrate. To keep my mind off waiting i coloured in the nandinos safari but the limited colour of crayons was frustrating i mean you can't even do a zebra. I got a table for four by myself and i was happy with the space.
Half chicken mango and lime with sweet mash and garlic bread with only a ten minute wait. The chicken was cooked through and considerably better than yesterdays chicken which i only half ate. The garlic bread was better developed but on smaller bread. The mash was sufficient.
Facing the wall, i had the pleasure of viewing one of many interesting paintings on the wall. There aren't many ornate pieces of carpentry here but the benches as alternative seating make this a fun place to be. Friendly staff and good food to sum up todays experience. oh and it's close to south harrow tube station, and northolt on the central line. Near the end of the high street but is easy to find. Opposite to local library and sainsburys which you could into afterwards for a cheap ice cream.
