Southampton - West Quay Leisure - Anonymous Review
I visited with my mother and we both need certain accommodations that can be time consuming for staff (an allergy that isn’t one of the main 14 for me, and my mum has a spinal disability that makes certain seating inaccessible for her) so we usually don’t go out to eat during a busy Saturday lunch.
We got seated almost immediately, and were taken care of so well by Summer and Tom!
We ordered at the till, so Summer clarified a few details about my allergy, double checked the ingredients on the labels and showed me unprompted so I could check for myself. She then checked whether I’d like the allergy tag to apply to all of the food or just my own, which I really appreciated.
My mum was struggling to sit at the table we’d been given (she hadn’t mentioned her disability before this point) and Tom relayed a table for us (that had been vacated maybe a minute beforehand) with such speed that we were still picking up our coats.
Tom also double checked my allergy on the ticket and made sure I was comfortable with the sauce on my dessert, as well as checking back to see if my mum was comfortable at the new table.
The restaurant was so incredibly busy, and we didn’t feel rushed or in the way at all. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind, and we really appreciated the wonderful service!
