Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
I could not rate the service I received today high enough! I had gastric surgery in January which had left me with an intolerance to refined sugar and eating out can be difficult!
When I arrived, I explained this to the manager Adam. He went and got the book that holds all the nutritional information and ingredients.
Adam asked me what I would like, he then preceded to go through everything to see what contained sugar and what would be suitable. I would say we probably spent around 15 minutes going through all the options before we settled on my order.
Once decided Adam put my order through along with what I was ordering for everyone. He explained that all the staff are fully aware and trained on allergy orders but as the manager he wanted to oversea my order to ensure no cross contamination.
We sat down to wait for our order and Adam then kindly brought over some glasses for us to have a drink. He then came over and advised some chicken was being cooked fresh to ensure no cross contamination.
Eating out and ordering is something that can be difficult and uncomfortable, Adam was the best person I have dealt with since my surgery and I’m so appreciative to him for taking the time to help me.
