Overall the whole experience was a bit of a mess…
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a happy and helpful gentlemen (Alex I think was his name). We went up to order and was served with a smile and everything my you’d expect in a customer service setting. This is where it went completely downhill…
I ordered Halloumi starter, which for something so simple to make took 35 minutes to arrive. But in the meantime another table arrived and received theirs before mine! (Don’t quite know how this works!!). Before the starter arrived, our mains arrived, which we had noticed had been on the counter for 15 minutes beforehand! Staff were walking around aimlessly when food could have been served, as at one point there must’ve been at least 10-15 dishes waiting to go to tables.
Regular checking of the refillable drink station is needed, as it was evident that a few of the syrups on the pumps were running out (coke was becoming clear in colour).
In terms of food quality, the chicken was somewhat dry (probably because it was sat on the counter for so long!!) and the “creamy” mash was far from it… smashed potatoes came to mind!
