Swindon - Orbital - Anonymous Review
We visited the Swindon Orbital branch and ordered our food after being seated. Nearly 30 mins into waiting, we could see that our food was not being prepared. I went back to the till girl (I think her name is Lydia - blonde hair with glasses) and complained. She apologised and spoke to what looks like one of her colleagues at the grill. I had been observing them cooking and it appeared as though they had forgotten about my order!!! On checking the order, they promised they would send the food quickly which they did after about 10 mins (after grilling the chicken). Lydia could sense that we were not very pleased with the long wait (especially with a baby and a 7 year old who was starving). Lydia had the good sense to offer us desert on the house as a goodwill gesture. I agreed to this and we finished our food and left afterwards. I have to offer praise to Lydia for understanding the situation and offering to compensate us somehow for the situation. She had what I would call good customer service thinking and I would say she is a good asset to Nandos. Well done to Lydia for saving the day! It was my first time at this restaurant and because of Lydia, I would return back!
