Our second Nando's in DC was certainly not in the same league as our first visit the previous night.

It was a horrible Monday in DC with relentless rain and we jumped in a taxi at the Air and Space Museum to reach this Nando's.

This was the site of my very first Nando's experience back when it first opened, and I have been back many times, even though several other Nando's have opened closer to where I live. The food and service here are exactly as you'd expect for Nando's, but what sets this apart is the arrangement of the restaurant.

This store is in the city centre and I headed here for a late supper but was surprised it was still busy though this may be due to it being the night before the MLK 50th anniversary march in Washington. I joined the queue and waited to get a table.

Parking depends on if you can find a space at one of the nearby meters. Expect to pay usual city parking prices though.

This was my first Nando's in the USA and I have to say I was very impressed. They have clearly copied the UK format closely, and the usual Nando's essentials such as being told about the ordering system took place.
