Westfield is a massive shopping centre by Shepherds Bush tube station with a fine collection of shops, eaterys and a Vue cinema. The massive Nandos store is on the 3rd floor by the cinema and has a glass wall and open sections that allow it to look down on the rest of the shopping centre. I was taken to a table by the large wooden Nandos in the end window, the tables were overly crowded in and i had to disturb several people both to get to my seat and then get to the till. Service was slow and there was a strong language barrier in ordering my food. When my food eventually did come they brought a leg rather than the breast I had ordered so had to wait longer for it to come back out. The chip portion was painfully small and the corn a cunning combination of cold and burnt. The chicken was dry so I might have been better with sticking with the leg. No one came back to check if the meal was ok, nor to clear away or offer me dessert (I had been looking forward to an frozen yogurt), they probably couldn't squeeze through the tables either!! It's a concern if the basics of hospitality break down on a weekday afternoon what hope do they have at weekends. This is probably why my friend advised me to give this store a miss. Though it wasn't personal to me as they were failing to clear the tables around me either.

Whilst elements of the decoration are impressive it is lost by the fibre insulation around the ventilation tubes coming away and hanging down from several rips and a good deal of dust and accumulated dirt as well. I tend to prefer my Nandos without insulation dropping onto it so this should be repaired as a matter of urgency.

When leaving the staff on the door ignore you too which is very strange for a Nandos store to not have someone say good bye on the way out. Give this store a miss the one a short walk away in Shepherds bush does so much better food.
