Time for our second reviewer dinner of 2014 at Great Portland Street Nando's which is a rather funky one just a stone's throw from Oxford Street.

21 Nando's fans had a memorable evening at Great Portland Street Nando's. Surprisingly only 7 members of the RYN community, excluding the team, made it to their 2nd Reviewer Dinner of 2014. This dinner was particularly notable as the man who has been to more than Nando's than any other, Ryan, finally managed to attend. Believe it or not this was his fourth Nando's of the day having spread his lunch and tea over visits to King's Cross, The Brunswick and Kilburn Nando's. The excitement grew as the peri-peri prizes were about to be dished out in our raffle. The winners were:

£20 Nando's gift card - Dom
£10 Nando's gift card - Raph
£10 Nando's gift card - Vanessa
Combo meal - Raph
Nando's sauce - Ryan

All the orders went through smoothly and dozens of chickens were subsequently demolished in true Rate Your Nando's style!

Once the food had been dispatched, another Nando's quiz ensued which included some similar sections to the previous one (Nando's anagrams and Name that Nando's) and some new ones (Name the RYN user). It was a fierce battle involving subtle and not-so subtle cheating from some people (you know who you are) and two teams ended up tied on 14/20. The killer tie-break question was how many Nando's are there in the UK to which one team responded 235 and another 237. As there are currently 305, the team of Blayne, Ryan (who had to leave early to catch his train home), Steven and Melisa ran out winners. They each received a mini bottle of medium Nando's sauce and a normal bottle of their choosing.

We now look forward to our next event which will be in late May at a London Nando's which has not yet hosted a Reviewer Dinner. If you have any suggestions, please let us know on Facebook or Twitter.
