Kings Cross

Awful host on door. Rude and obviously eats the leftover chips from customers plates. Left loads of us standing waiting for a seat. Even though lots were free and the entire downstairs shut off. Refused to clear our table. Refused to seat another couple where they chose to even though it was free. We won’t be going back. There are far more places to eat than this poor excuse of a “restaurant”.

Our waitress Sonia was very professional and welcoming when we ordered our food. She also checked if we were enjoying our food. We’ll go there again.

We are regularly customers that come in weekly. I can say Kings cross nandoes have amazing customer service and staff. Great communication, staff always checking on up on us, ensuring that we happy. And finally the food is AMAZING.

Manager is absolutely fantastic! Motivates the team, this is not a biased review and not the first time I have seen this manager turn a Nandos around into the well oiled machines they should be. Could not have asked for a better meal or better service.

Service was extremely disappointing. Firstly I was told I was not allowed to order alcohol with the meal I chose (a £7+ salad). Then we were told they didn't know how to make the drink we ordered (which was on the menu) and that they would bring them to our table instead. After 25 minutes by which time my 3 friends had finished their burgers and wraps, I still had no salad or drinks. We got up to chase staff 3 times before eventually they were brought to us.

As rail station Nando's go, this one is very convenient for my station King's Cross to head back North, so a trip was made!

Entered the outlet, and was greeted and shown to a table. After a quick menu ponder, I pottered over and ordered. The whole process wasn't very enthusing, just seemed to happen and quite mediocre. After ordering, I returned to my table, picking out some not grubby cutlery.

This was my first visit to nando's Kingscross and the staff were very friendly and polite. The cashier was a trainee, beautiful face, she was very friendly, constantly smiling and made feel welcomed. She took orders very fast and explained how everything worked. The same trainee was at the back were I sat and kept asking if I required anything else that was very thoughtful. The food was superb and very fast.

Thanks to rateyournandos I had a great time here and it was free! They brought out so much food i didn't know what or how much to eat! A great spread was put on and the Nandos staff did really well to cater for everyone. The night was really good and well organised! We won the quiz again and there was even a lovely Nandos cake at the end with a Nandos live person! Brilliant! Thanks again to all the rateyournandos crew for a great night!

Great night with the Team, meet loads of new people and got plenty of food provided to us, couldn't ask for more :P We were provided with plenty of new starters which were tasty.

The overall restaurant is very well laid out, we took control of downstairs enough for a big group if you ever want to go as a big group. I would like to add if your fairly tall be careful of the lamps downstairs. Hit my head a few times *facepalm.

#RYN5 was just amazing. It truly exceeded all expectations!

I'd been to the King's Cross branch less than a couple of months ago and it was a fairly average experience but this was something else. Lots of wings, lots of chicken burger/wraps/pittas and lots of chips. Oh, and halloumi too. AND birthday cake! Good to see some of the guys from Nando's HQ there (I think) and Barci!

If I could give a 10/5 for the friendliness of staff and service as a whole, that's exactly what I'd go and do. They gave 200% effort in providing us with as much variety of free food as we wanted and our desires were fully met, nay, exceeded.

I attended the Fifth birthday of Rate Your Nandos, courteously invited by Marc Joss, I was one of the selected few to attend the oversubscribed event. The Nandos staff were very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and the links to transport perfect for me - right by Kings Cross station and therefore easy access for all.

It was very enjoyable and I bloody loved seeing that giant chicken. It pushed me that one step closer to getting that Nando's tattoo that I always claimed I would.

Thank you Nando's for providing such an excellent banquet for our love of your brand.

This was a late Friday night meal prior to a night out. Service was pretty slow; there was a queue to sit down despite several tables being empty or just not cleaned yet. The queue to order was pretty lengthy too. Food was good, but took a while to come. Location is excellent, just a stone's throw away from Kings Cross / St Pancras stations. The layout of the restaurant is a bit awkward, though, with the service station a fair distance away from where we were sitting!

Instead of sitting in alone on Valentine's Day I decided I'd just go to Nando's with my friend, we were originally going to go to a different branch but another friend asked to join our man date so we decided to go to King's Cross as it was more of an equal distance between us. I've been to this branch many times before, I've never seen it extremely busy but this time it was.

PLACE: Table 9. I wasn't a fan of the 'straunt layout, father Nando clearly had trouble designing the interior as the room is 'Z' shaped. Sitting in the booth by the door was drafty and cold. I also haven't been to a Nandloo for a long time but I'm happy to report that this one was airblade enabled- 7/10

Never had a bad experience at this branch. Was totally full and were told we'd have to wait 10 minutes for our table, but within five minutes we had sat down and ordered. Friendly, helpful staff and great food. Always tastes better when it's free too - complained to Nando's about a horrendous experience at the Swiss Cottage branch (see previous review) and they gave me two free combination meals to apologise!

It was time for the next Rate Your Nando's Contributors dinner and this one brought me to the eatery right opposite King's Cross St Pancras station. It has a lot of places to compete with; many fast food chains and takeaways stand in our favourite restaurant's way but it stands tall in the face of adversity.

It was my first time at Nando's and it was incredibly nice. I must say it was even better than I expected and the mayonnaise with extra extra hot sauce combination was amazing.

I've been to this before and only been sat downstairs on a tiny table, but this is HUGE and they have the staff to cover it.
Very friendly and they triple checked the garlic bread/cheese, although it didn't come melted, hence losing the full marks.
The decor is just a splendid Nando's, and the toilet does indeed have an airblade!

Well the lovely people at Brent Cross Nandos provided me with a full platter Chicken check for a previous review and we decided to stop by the Kings Cross Nandos on the way home from work. Being right next to the station, this is a high volume restaurant but that doesn't stop them providing a top-notch service. The food is about as good as it gets, and FAST, so great if you're in a hurry. I had my usual; Halloumi, and a half hot with rice and coleslaw.

My second Nando's visit saw me return to the holy Nando's that is Kings Cross, I say holy because its my favourite Nando's restaurant and one that I consider my kingdom. I was back in town working fairly local so what else to do at lunch other than to stop off for a cheeky Nando's before Christmas with some good work friends.

This was the second time that I have visited this branch in a week, I decided to go on the way home from Uni as I was really hungry! This was about 17:30. I discussed the Decor in a previous review so I won't bother talking about that.

Unlike many branches, it was possible to reserve a table for a large group the day before in order to avoid disappointment. There were no problems in terms of arriving as a big group on a Tuesday evening (even though it was Bank Holiday) and although the branch was quite busy, there was hardly a queue when we decided to order.
