My first time attending Nando's, so I did not know what to except. Many friends have told me Nando's is a good restaurant and that I needed to try their Peri-peri sauce. I went to the one in the Brunswick centre and ordered a chicken platter, two corn on the cob and chips. If you are wondering, yes, I did get some Peri-peri sauce. The food was average to be honest, nothing worth going back to unless I order something else the menu such as a sweet potato mash.

Apart from the 20 minute wait for the food, which was worth the wait, I can't complain.
The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive, and D'Artagnan, I mean Sebastian was an excellent host.

I travelled to my third RYN reviewer dinner on the train from Bedford to St. Pancras and then just one stop on the Piccadilly line to Russel Square. This Nandos at the Brunswick was to be a new one for me and I was very much looking forward to both trying a new restaurant with the RYN regulars and enjoying the peri-peri chicken on offer.

This reviewer nando's event was situated in a rewlly nice location. It is accessible by a number of tube lines, the closest being Russell Sq. I had to wait ages for my food which was annyoing because I was quite hungry. The art decor was your standard nando's. We had a lovely area which was more than enough to fit us alll in. Nevertheless it was good when it arrived and I believe we won the quiz, which got me another free bottle of sauce!

Hallelujah for reaching Nando's 91. Indiscriminately picking a Nando's branch and going there just to reach the triple numbers club by the end of the year!

So, after the disappointing grub at King Cross, I had a short walk to The Brunswick for my second chicken fillet burger and chips!

This one is located in The Brunswick centre, which is home to plenty of other restaurants and shops. It's just round the corner from Russell Square tube station and about a 10 minute walk from both Kings Cross and Euston train station.

We had a bit of a mixed bag with this Nando's - some chickens were overcooked, others under done - with no skin :s But service was pretty quick, which is a bonus at lunchtime.
The restaurant's been closed for a week for a refurb, but doesn't appear to have been changed very much - maybe a lick of paint.

Another great visit to The Brunswick, portion sizes here are great! I was unable to finish my half chicken and 2 peri chips after sharing houmous with peri drizzle to start and demolishing my side of Halloumi. I felt ashamed of myself but also glad that I was in such a position due to generous portion sizes unlike in recent visits to some other London branches.
Staff are fantastic and really make you feel welcome with genuine enthusiasm and passion for the Nando's brand!

Upon initial conversation with the woman behind the counter, she seemed a little miserable, but after a while she brightened up with a little smile here and there. However it is preferable when entering a restaurant to be greeted by chirpy and friendly staff. So that was a little disappointing, however the man that brought over our meal was very friendly and made a little recovery on behalf of his colleague.

The interior is rather impressive due to the carefully selected lighting and artwork which provide a warm and welcoming environment. Arriving at 9pm on a Saturday night was no problem as we were seated instantly and did not have to queue before ordering. Food arrived promptly and was of the expected standard. Parking was easy and free but Warren Street station is a short walk away if public transport is needed. There are many flash bars and shops in the vicinity in the heart of London.
