Balham

First time in Balham nandos , the chicken was dry which isn’t the end of the world but our server TAJ made up for it ! He was incredibly professional and polite, super friendly and helped us with everything! I would legit go back just for his service ! Give that man a raise !!!!!

The employee by the name of Raj, was engaging and informative about the menu. Presented us with an excellent attitude and also his colleague Grant was equally accommodating to our needs. All in all we felt as if we were given a Micheillen style of service ...10 out of 10

I want to thank the team for all the efforts they put in constantly checking in to see if everything is ok in traditional nandos style. This week the restaurant has been very busy but the team worked so hard to ensure great table service and food quality. I’m afraid if they keep up this performance we will have to keep attending many more times!

The waiter Steve was incredibly helpful. From the moment we enter the store he greeted us, made us feel welcome. He explained the menu & offered us sauces. Steve was polite & knowledgeable. He was fully competent in all the questions we asked him. Steve made the experience feel much better overall. I will definitely be visiting this branch again.

Luna is an amazing Nando’s staff! Really caring, polite and attentive to everyone. Makes me feel very welcome since the first time I started coming to Nando’s (Balham)- makes me always want to come back!

Gerino who works in the Balham branch is amazing and provides us with exceptional service. Very polite, efficient and works genuinely. He always ensures we are happy and to be honest that’s why we come more to the Balham branch. Thanks Gerino!

Boring Balham, somewhere I'd rather not spend my Friday night again. This visit was just a shambles from start to finish. Arrived and entered to be told there is an up to 20 minute wait. That's fine, not bothered about waiting, however I didn't enjoy the further 5 minute lecture on how the queueing system works. I really didn't want to know, and whilst the server may have thought they were being helpful, I think everyone knows that if there isn't a space, you have to wait.

This is an easily accessible branch, as it has excellent transport links, both the Tube and train stations are very close by, but I really wouldn’t bother. Our dining experience was mostly appalling.
Upon arrival the host informed us our wait to be seated would be approx. 20 minutes. This is entirely understandable, it was a Friday night after all. The quoted waiting time was accurate.

So onto my third Nando's of the evening and fourth of the day... so I was starting to feel a bit full at this point! But the next step took me to Balham.

This Nando's is just a few minutes walk away from Balham Train and Tube Station. It is a fairly small restaurant with only 20 or so table/chair sets in a slightly narrow and longer layout.

Friendly staff, very chatty... they didn't initially bring the spicy chip salt so it was a bonus when I got to keep shaking it on for as long as I want :)
The Garlic Bread was a little soggy (and no melted cheese), but nothing to worry about.

Terrible weather, and I was in a rush..

Balham Nando's was on the list of Unrated UK Branches until this visit! The branch is a 5 minute walk from Balham tube (northern line)and the surrounding area is littered with shops and other restaurants (I can't imagine the chicken house across the road does that well!).On arrival, it did take the staff a while to notice me as I was the first member of the group to get to the branch. To be fair, there was a queue at the till but I did feel slightly neglected.
