Nando's is also almost next door to Sydenham train station. Being Sydenham, you are less than a mile or just one train stop from Crystal Palace, which is a nicer place to go out in... There's a cinema in Crystal Palace as well.
Parking: 
I parked in the free car park in Girton Road, which is under 0.5 mile walk away. There wasn't any signs I could see or machines about to pay, so I can only assume it was free! (hopefully...)

I pop into this nando’s all the time as it’s my local! & it’s always so nice to be recognised. I am very happy when I pop in and see Tyler (have to give him a personal shout out!) at the front of house, he always makes me feel very welcome because he recognises me! Every time I come in, he goes above and beyond to make sure I’m looked after. His friendly attitude, attention to detail, and genuine care really make a difference.

This was our first visit to this particular branch and also the first time eating at Nando’s again since before the pandemic. We ordered half chicken and a grilled chicken wrap both with 2 regular side dishes. We were really impressed with the flavours, the quality and the freshness! The long-stem Broccoli were particularly tasty and so was the chicken.

I would like to commend Troy of Sydenham's Nandos. (I think he might be the manager there.) We were a party of 5 adults and three children. One of our friends had problems with her phone order but Troy was very attentive, helped her sort out her app and their food arrived eventually. After we had eaten she tried to place a takeaway order for a pitta meal for her husband. She had somehow managed to repeat the order 7 times due to the malfunctioning phone app.

Ive been to the Nando's in Sydenham 3 times and everytime has been a bad experience i would be one of the first in and order a take away for myself and my 2 year old daughter but always the last one out... I find the food isn't great too the staff are quite miserable looking and not very welcoming...so overall its not a Nando's i recommend to anyone it has actually put me off of all Nando's!!!

I just walked into the new Nando's in our area, Sydenham. What a disappointing experience! We got told after waiting by the door with another party for 5 minutes 'We are at full capacity'. Baring in mind I could see 5 free tables in front of me this was a crazy excuse. The place was filled with dirty plates and dishes too! After waiting for it to open, everyone around I was extremely annoyed. The manager didn't even come to speak to us after requested either and didn't look bothered!

Popped into Nandos in Sydenham midweek , around 2pm . Waited at the door area and after 4 minutes my daughter had to approach the waitress, who had passed us a couple of times. No acknowledgement . We asked if we could have a table for 2 and was told none were available. Right in front of us were 2 six seater tables with benches and said to the waitress we would like to sit there and eat and would move if a 2 seater became available. She said NO!

Stopped into this Nando's early afternoon and it had only just been open for a couple of hours on its opening day, so it wasn't too busy just yet. It probably goes to show the sort of area it is in, as there was a security guard on the door...

When I arrived at the door I asked for a table for two for me and my son this was my first visit to this Nando’s I was told they were full and we could not wait either there was tables available and not many people in the waiting area, I have never been turned away from any Nando’s ever this was very disappointing and has put me of going there again which is a shame as I work in the area and live close.
