We had a bad experience at a newly opened nandos and we're given a voucher to spend on another meal. However we didn't realise the voucher had expired when we booked to go to Chelmsford Nandos.on arrival we spoke to the manager who said he couldn't honour the voucher but would try to help us out ,we just need to call him when we order. There were 8 of us since we were meeting another family and we didn't hold much hope that the "help" would be anywhere near as generous as our expired voucher for 2 whole chicken meals and desserts.
We got everyone's order and went to the till to pay. The manager put all the meals and drinks on and when we were finished he took us completely by surprise by zeroing the cost. We got our entire meal and drinks free! We still still feel in shock but want to express our most sincere thanks to the manager not only for his generosity but also for restoring our faith in Nandos as a favourite of ours to eat out as a family. We are regulars at Nandos but have definitely found our favourite restaurant. The service was great,despite it being a very busy saturday evening and the food excellent. Kids all received lots of colouring in bits from the get go and were entertained throughout.Thanks again.
