This Nando's is easily found as the Mayflower is signposted off the A127, but you can only get to it heading Westbound - and it's the same turn off you'd use for Festival Leisure (where another Nando's is) - one to get to by car. On the retail park are your standard large chain shops and eateries such as Sports Direct, Next Homebase, KFC, McDonald's etc...

I absolutely love this Nando’s location! The food is always delicious, and the staff are so friendly and efficient. For me it really stands out compared to other Nando's locations nearby – you can tell it's run by people who know what they're doing.

The only thing is that the women's bathroom could use a little attention, as there never seems to be any soap available.

Kim is a wonderful member of staff who always strives to make us feel welcome. She is one of the main reasons we return to this restaurant.

Was old on entering that if we ordered at the desk, we must pay in cash. Or order via the QR code at the table and pay by card. One waitress on the entire floor. Ver nice staff but when i eat I want a dining experience at least to be able to ask a question. I do not want to sit isolated with a QR code and menu. It was £70 for 4 people for a simple lunch one course & water. Way too expensive .

We normally love eating at this Nandos, but there was over 30min wait to get seated then nearly an hour on top until we received our food, aslo my veggie burger just seemed thrown together as all the salad was at the front then the burger and at the back was all the sundried tomatoes.
When we asked why the wait was so long they said there was a lot of take away orders, but to us they seemed very understaffed as tables where no get cleared.

Me and my friends ordered a nandos last night 4/10/17 and the service was magnificent, we was served by Anabel and she was very smiley, welcoming, and generous to us. An amazing meal with friends, topped off by great service by the staff, most especially Anabel. 10/10

Flight delayed so thought I'd take my chances stopping at a new Nandos on the way to Southend airport. Luckily it was still early so the Friday restaurant rush hour hadn't started yet, and we were seated straight away and served in what may have been record time!

No sooner was I back with the cutlery, than the food was presented in piping hot glory. We wolfed it down, and were back in the car on our way to the airport with time to spare!

A very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was comfortable, spotless and the ladies toilets were very posh! The food was tasty, hot and plentiful and the staff were very polite and helpful. This is the nicest Nandos i have visited. Well done all!

A brief job at the West Ham training ground that finished by 1pm left me in a decent position to tick off a nearby Nando's that I hadn't previously visited, and Basildon's newest Nando's certainly met the criteria. A lovely drive with the roof down on a sunny spring day concluded with a parking space right outside this swanky new Nando's and things just got better and better.

Stopped into this Nando's on my way back home. This branch was the 5th Essex Nando's in two days and you know all of the staff I've met were so nice and genuine. The atmosphere inside was really great, the staff seem to still be learning but they have great camaraderie which was nice to see.
