I have been a Nando's restaurant for over 20 years and my experience visiting has always been great until today the 07/12/2024 when i visited one of the Victoria restaurant at cardinal walk, Cardinal Place Sw1E 5JE, where i met with a very rude and unprofessional lady called Julia, I suspect she could be a supervisor in the unit with the way she displayed her arrogance.

Drinks machine was out of order
When I ordered I was told there would be a wait of at least 20 min as they'd run out of chicken thighs and were waiting for more
When it arrived the spicy rice was badly overcooked & the small portion of chips was almost cold.

Nick Sat us and was absolutely amazing. I have a number of confusing and complicated dietary restrictions for medical reasons (is is usually easier to list the whole foods I can eat as opposed what foods I can not eat) and was extremely intimidated to eat out while traveling but he made me feel welcome and accommodated without belittling me or making me feel like I was annoying or a burden (as I am often made to feel at other dining establishments).

Staff were very friendly Nick and sebea but we waited half an hour for dessert.I had to ask and were told they've messed the order up and asked if we wanted anything to apologise.I got a glass of wine and my husband got ice cream but we never got our hot chocolate so we didn't get them free.It is also my birthday and my husband took me out.We wasn't impressed at all and left because we couldn't be bothered asking again

Friday Nando's, and Victoria - Cardinal Place was chosen as the venue. Arrived, and welcomed with a beaming smile. I was told I could sit where I wanted within the outlet, so I chose a table by the window in the corner. After a short ponder of the menu, I went to order. This was fairly easy, returning to the table thereafter.

Been here a few times with some coworkers when we're staying late at the office and fancy a treat. Swift service and the food is always super fresh. Excellent alternative to grotty fast food chains. Also a nice, quiet part of Victoria to eat in.

Close to Victoria train station amongst other restaurants in a pedestrianised zone in the heart of the city. Quite a small store, nothing amazing nothing bad really. Glass frontage with bright orange plastic seating out front.
Food was ok, mid range. The toilets were upstairs but they had shut them early to clean them with a barrier of chairs, signs and boards to block the stairs, this led to a bit of a queue to use the downstairs toilet.

This was a quick fire Nando's just before half the team had to catch the rather expensive Gatwick Express for his flight back to Madrid and luckily, the branch wasn't too busy on this fine Sunday evening, a queue to be seated would have meant no Nando's.

I decided to finally use my Chicken Cheque from the October competition. A lovely free full platter and two drinks, yum. I got a bit lost looking for this branch, It’s in the Cardinal Place shopping area at the back tucked away, I didn’t see it at first when I walked through the shopping area, but eventually I found it, it was pretty empty with only a few tables with people on.

This Nando's is conveniently located just two minute's walk from Victoria tube station, overground station and coach station. We went at prime time on a Saturday night but were still seated immediately which was impressive, though the restaurant lacked the usual atmosphere associated with a busy Nando's. The lack of people had its plus side though, since the food came very quickly and we were in and out within half an hour.
