2nd time visiting this branch and the weather was coming down terribly again. I thought it would be an omen to the visit but it wasn't. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was really good.

RYN XHotXmas15, in Kentish Town. An outlet I had not visited before, so was very much looking forward to visiting. I arrived on the Thameslink train to Kentish Town station (can also pick up the Northern Line here) which is a very short walk from the store.

Before this visit, Kentish Town was in my bottom handful of 'avoid' branches and so my expectations were somewhat low... which only made the surprise of receiving free gift boxes of half-a-dozen sauces all the more unexpected!

What a fantastic night at Kentish Town Nando's for XhotXmas15, the Rate Your Nando's Christmas dinner. Manager Eva was so welcoming and helpful. The Christmas present laid on by Nando's was a real treat and the food arrived sufficiently speedily and was very tasty.

It was a great night for all: a fantastic raffle and a high-scoring quiz. See you in 2016, Nando's fans and massive plaudits to James and Marc for a wonderful dinner!

Walked in. No staff around and empty restaurant.
Staff member poked head out from behind the till area and asked me to leave as they were not open.
I pointed out that their sign said they open at 11:30am and the time was currently 12 noon.
Staff member replied, normally yes but today we open at 1pm - again I was asked to leave without further explanation.
I left and enjoyed a loverly pub lunch at the pub just round the corner.

Very unsatisfactory visit.

Got kicked out of Kentish town library and got soaked in the rain heading down to this nandos branch, half running, half taking shelter under store covers. This branch is pretty convenient to get to, half way between Camden road underground and Kentish town underground plus the overground. At least six different buses traverse this road, one taking you all the way to Tottenham court road. This branch is also on the high street and hard to miss so at least it is easy to find.

Its one of the few decent places to eat on the Kentish Town high street for lunch. I've frequented many Nandos but for some reason, the Kentish Town one is not on par with the others I go to in Edgware, Borehamwood or Camden. The chicken has always had too much basting on it, making it way too spicy. Its happened about 3 times that I've been there.

Very surprised at this store as I had heard a lot of negatives but was pleased when got there, It is on the main street in Kentish town near Mediterranean and health food stores where I feel it fits in well. Its placed on a curved corner which gives the interior an unusual shape with large garage like doors towards the back which I suspect open fully in the summer to bring the summer in and potted trees either side of the door.

Probably one of my most disappointing Nando's experiences ever... About 4pm on a weekday afternoon, the place was pretty empty but the service was painfully slow. As if the ordering process didn't take long enough (only one cashier open), my mate had to wait almost half an hour for his food to come despite having ordered first (they upgraded his chips to large as compensation) which, in turn, made me pick at my food for ages rather than enjoy it as normal.

So we tried to find the nearest Nando's to Camden Town, so decided that Kentish town was quite a good in between. As it was around Christmas time we expected it to be really busy but there didn't seem to be anyone there, so much so that we thought it was closed.

It has been a while since my last visit to Kentish Town Nando's so I deemed it time to give it another go especially as it had been one of the lowest rated London Nando's for a while. It must be said that it is nothing special from the outside and the ordering area can get messy since it is close to the entrance where people walk in and out but on this quiet Tuesday lunchtime, that was never going to be a problem.

Visiting this Nandos was a complete joy. Having previously been to the Nandos in Camden, My girlfriend and I were attending a Gig at Kentish Town Forum so decided to have our dinner in our favourite chicken shack.

Not too far from the tube station so ideal for a darting walk from the station to the restaurant. The decor could do with a lick of paint if you ask me, but I cannot fault the staff or the quality of the food. Attentive and friendly.

Came to this Nando's after going to watch a play across the road. The cast turned up for their dinner, was kind of weird!

The staff were actually alright on our visit, might have listened to some of the other reviews on here!

This branch is just 5 minutes walk from Kentish Town tube station. First impressions were that it was small and dark, since it's in the bottom 5 I wasn't expecting anything good. We went on a weekday late afternoon and it was empty.

Friendliness of staff - The staff seemed miserable in this branch, maybe they know they're in the bottom 5. Didn't smile when they served me and just shoved the food on our table. We didn't get a thank you as we left. 2/5 for staff.

chicken and sauce it came in were burnt. mash potato was dry and tasteless, peas too spicy by far. tried to send the food back and was confronted as i'd eaten as much as i could they were confused that i'd eaten so much. i decided to get out of the branch asap, so i suggested they just replace the chicken and make it takeaway. however the new chicken was just as burnt if not more so.

Although the food arrived very quickly, the questionable amount of peri-peri spice left some people rather disappointed. The branch itself is a 5 minute walk from Kentish Town Station but it seems to be one of the older branches and investment should be a priority. Having been to branches in Westfield and Middlesex Street this week, this one simply cannot be compared. There was no art work and the lighting was dimmed excessively.
