Two Jumbo Platters with a Lemon & Herb, Mango & Lime, Medium and Extra Hot chickens, two large chips, rice, macho peas, mash and coleslaw. To share with a few friends.
What do you love about Nando's?:
My great aunt had a phrase "Good, Better, Best. Let us never rest, till our good is better, and our better best!" I think this sums up RYN as we all know Nandos is good and its helping them get better and recognising those that are best.
I can be a bit OCD when i get involved in something and Nandos is no different. I'd had the occasional Nandos in london when up there before and always enjoyed, then the Portsmouth branch opened and I became crazed, involved on their facebook page and making my freinds do so too, dragging my hockey club there till the point my tour shirt name was "anyone wanna Nando?" and i was a signed up member of Nandos defence league taking randoms in and more often or not saving up my full stamp cards till I have enough to take in my hockey family, 16 or more at a time. I was then set the mission of visiting every store in the country a task i have started with gusto. One highlight was a epic 12 Nandos in 11 days across 4 countries involving 2 ferries and a hell of a lot of driving.
I have 3 aims in life when it comes to Nandos, a) Get a legendary something you just can't mention, b)visit the original and first store in South Africa, c) visit and rate every store in the UK.

| December | 2013 | Bristol - Cribbs Venue | I made use of my prize gift cards to head to Feltham Nando's with a group of 12 friends after a Hockey match against Imperial Medics where we drubbed them into the ground. I shared the Nando's love by using the cards to buy the first goal scorer and the man of the match half a chicken and chips each with Houmous starter and bottomless beverages. A good meal had by the whole team! Thanks to RYN team! |
| September | 2013 | Pentagon Row | I had been saving my prize for something special and a trip to London for a Tae Kwon Do tournament seemed the ideal time. I headed to my favourite restaurants this time at The Brunswick centre. The food there was perfectly cooked and they served good sized portions, I especially liked my chips doused in Peri Peri salt and the Rice heaped to a good size. Thank you again RYN and Brunswick Nandos. |
| June | 2013 | Wrexham | My good friend Lola and myself choose a balmy summer night to visit the busy London store of Hammersmith. Starting with Houmous and Halloumi, I progressed onto a standard Chicken breast, chips and corn whilst Lola was adventurous with the new avocado salad and half chicken. The surroundings enabled us to enjoy Nando's bounty of foods. Big Thanks to RYN for this delicious night out :-) |
| January | 2012 | Livingston | Definitely happy to win again, made all the better by beating Adam. I decided to have my meal at my favourite store and regular haunt Portsmouth. Weather was lovely down on the Solent and nice to wander around Gunwharf Quays shops before calling into my fave food establishment with a few friends for a excellent feed as per their usually high standards. |

Even better as it came as a chicken cheque I looked very generous when i offered to pay and headed to the till my friend none the wiser. Thanks to all concerned for a massive meal and a good night out |
